Update 11/17: The fucking fla file corrupted and I am sooo pissed right now. I had to decompile my swf and now there are like 100 more layers and 1000 more items in the library. Almost all the text in the game is unaligned and needs adjustments. Somehow the fla file is less than half the size of the original which worries me as to what might be missing... On the brighter side I know I exported to swf just before saving and closing so I didn't lose any work.

Will I finish the game? Yes
Will I make the expansion adding in 2 more girls and 2 more reward endings? Probably not

So I am still making the Sim Date. I actually got a significant portion of it done.

While I did have a few good artists (and many non-artists) contact me to provide help with the art, I couldn't find one that I liked. Not that it was their fault I am just stupidly picky and their styles didn't match what I pictured. I ended up doing it myself and while it may not be great, I think it looks okay.

What's left:
-End Game Reward
-Adjusting Difficulty (money, experience, etc)
-Music (Which I picked out already and just need to fool around with a bit)

When can you expect it out by? Probably not too soon :P Kinda busy atm with classes, but every now and then I get the urge to work on it a bit.

So I just finished coding the last major bit of my Sim Date game.

It is based off of Ganguro Girl's layout and set up. There is only 1 girl to date, 3 places to go on dates, 3 different stats to raise, 3 jobs (one for each stat), a mini gambling game, 2 cheats, and there will be an ending sex game. Pretty basic.

It's a bit shorter than Ganguro Girl but I plan on making a 2nd follow up game which will expand the game to three datable characters, more dating places, mini games, cheats, and a 2nd reward game.

Anyway I am hoping I don't have to do the art myself since I am very slow and a terrible artist. You would be co-author of this game and the 2nd. Ideally I am looking for someone who will be able to do the animation for the kiss scene, sleep transition, and ending game. Then lots of backgrounds for the various different areas (I think 17), and buttons/pictures of items.

Oh I have to promote this amazing game I played called "Katawa Shoujo (Act 1)". It's a larger dating game so you have to download it and do a small install but it is so worth it. This is all texted based and will have you reading for hours on end, you won't want to stop though. All the girls in the game are from a school for kids with physical defects (Blind, mute, amputees, etc). Very moe :P (that sounds lame) but makes ya just wanna smother them with hugs. And the craziest part of this game is that it was made by 4chan users, and when I say this I do not mean the usual guys in /b/ people associate with the name 4chan, but the guys from /a/ (anime) saw this one single cute picture and were inspired to make this masterpiece (and it isn't even done yet).
